Mahjong 101 Class or Open Play ~ November 21st

Join us for a fun filled afternoon of laughter and connection at 5 Soul, where we’ll learn the game of Mahjong or expand our Mahjong circle with Open Play!

Mahj 101- Beginners Class: Introductory 2-hour American Mahjong class where you will learn all of the basics of the game. A brief history of the game, tiles, dealing, the Charleston, rules of play, the National Mahjong League Card and dive into a game!

Open Play: This option is for those who have taken at least one Mahjong lesson or already know how to play. While we won’t be teaching a lesson, we’ll be available to help with any questions that come up. It’s a fun, relaxed way to sharpen your skills.

Your Open Play reservation includes two hours of play, a glass of wine, and one raffle ticket for your chance to win prizes. A complete Mahjong set up is provided: tiles, racks and mats. 

Please bring your official 2025 NMJL card.

*The class fee is non-refundable. You may move your reservation to another class date. Rescheduling is only permitted 72 hours prior to the event.*
